6.4.9 Communicating decimals and integers

This part of the RDR standard does not prescribe a specific precision in which decimal numbers are to be given. The sender and the recipient must agree a precision for the type of transactions taking place between them. The same applies to integers.

Users of this part of the RDR standard are reminded that some accounting applications may only be able to handle six, or even four, decimal places.
